The Natural Natal Centre is a collaboration of minds, training and experience, specialising in fertility and pregnancy across a number of complementary therapies. Our treatments heal at energetic, structural and biochemical levels, therefore addressing your needs holistically. When combined they will often bring about the desired changes faster than just one therapy on its own. This synergy of disciplines provides patients with dynamic natural treatment and draws on the many years of experience our practitioners have between them.

We provide you with a programme of care which is worked out for you and which will combine the natural strengths of several therapies at once, all under one roof.

You don’t have to search any further for therapists who specialise in maternity. The NCC provides the range of therapies we believe are key to optimising fertility and a happy, healthy pregnancy.

Natural therapies are by their nature extremely safe. They are not based on research and new findings, rather on hundreds (or sometimes thousands) of years of careful, thoughtful work by practitioners to build up skill and effectiveness. Natural Therapy is much, much safer than any medicine, and side effects much, much rarer.

• Our highly qualified practitioners offer counselling, osteopathy, acupuncture, chinese herbal medicine, homeopathy, reflexology and nutrition. Through an initial consultation, our practitioners work together to tailor a treatment plan for each patient to ensure that they have the best care and results for their case.
• The Natural Natal Centre believes that through a combination of these therapies, patients can achieve optimum fertility and a happy, healthy pregnancy.
• Each package provides flexibility to select specific treatments allowing for any personal preference the patient may have. However, we aim to relieve you of the decision-making process and with patient approval and through our expertise, the NNC can create the best treatment plan for each patient. The NNC team will consult regularly on patient progress and will continue to tailor treatments accordingly.

Q:
The NNC sounds very comprehensive and unique. However, since you are a multidisciplinary team and will be passing our details around amongst you, how can we be sure that our records stay safe and that you respect our confidentiality?

Response:
That is a very important point and one that you can rest assured will be respected and treated seriously. As a team we will share information but when discussing patients we will only use first names, any notes taken stay in the clinic and are locked when not in use, and for any further dialogue had with practioners who are not a part of NNC, you will need to sign a waiver giving us the permission to discuss your case.

Yes, according to which therapy you are receiving. We have one practitioner for counselling, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, homeopathy, reflexology and nutrition. For Osteopathy, for example, we would decide which of our osteopaths has the most relevant experience for your case.

The NNC is based at the Fulham Osteopaths clinic, at 769 Fulham Road. It is a fun, friendly practice, where children are welcome yet quiet spaces are aplenty, and reception staff are always available to help.

You will meet the relevant practitioners once we have assessed your case and agreed on your treatment plan. We will review your case during your treatment plan and this may result in you meeting further practitioners for therapies.

Often people have treatment with a few separate therapists already but what’s different about our approach is that we have chosen therapies that blend well together for a strong and layered effect. We will also be liasing closely together on your case to cross-treat and cross reference so that your treatment will be very dynamic and very comprehensive.

Q;
We’ve already spent a lot of time finding out that we had problems conceiving. We don’t feel we have time to waste?

A:
Fertility problems can be longstanding and complicated and need to be acted upon directly, so that you get the best possible chance of a successful pregnancy in as short a time as possible. The advantage of a package is that we can follow your treatment progress as a group of experienced practitioners. So that you have a lot of benefit, leaving some of the worry about choices to us. Us having a group of very experienced and effective practitioners gives you added reassurance that as much is being done as effectively as possible.

Cranial Osteopathy is a gentle form of hands-on treatment which many Osteopaths employ as part of their treatment. It is very gentle, and involves an Osteopath "listening" with their hands to subtle tensions and circulatory flows in the body. It might be considered to be a kind of physical "unwinding", allowing injuries and strains to soften and relax. Circulation is restored, waste products are removed, and pain is relieved. It is a very natural and safe treatment, epitomising the osteopathic principle "the body produces it's own medicines" . It can be verging on miraculously effective with some difficult conditions where the body seems to "hold on" to trauma. It is used commonly with babies following the birth process, and indeed is the treatment of choice for many head complaints like glue ear, dizziness and headaches.

Cranial Osteopathy also addresses the phenomenon of "somatisation" where emotional states have a linked physical state, as the body tries to prepare physically for whatever is making us, for example, sad or angry. It can sometimes dissolve away these states when more traditional counselling has not entirely resolved matters. Also, if you feel better physically, you can more easily cope mentally.
