Nutritional Therapy

Kate Delmar-Morgan, nutritional therapist at The NNC

Kate Delmar-Morgan (BSc Hons, Dip Raw, mBANT)

Kate graduated with a first class honours degree in Nutritional Therapy at Westminster University and is fully registered with the British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT). Prior to her training at University she also obtained a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy at the Raworth International College for natural, nutrition and sports therapies where she has since returned to lecture on various topics.
As well as treating individual patients at the Fulham Osteopath Practice in Fulham and The Groves Medical Centre in New Malden for a wide range of health issues, she also runs workshops covering the link between autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and nutrition for The Hyperactive Children’s Support Group and has a personal interest in this area of working with children. Her involvement in this area of work has also prompted Kate to set up a consultancy which works with independent schools and organisations on their nutrition provision.

Kate has also developed a very strong interest in the preconception, fertility, pregnancy and post birth sector of nutritional therapy and has joined the Natural Natal Centre at the Fulham Osteopathic Practice to offer nutritional advice to potential parents. It is proven that nutrition plays a vital role in every stage of this process right from the moment of considering starting a family through to offering the most nutritious food choices for a baby’s development. There are of course many other factors which can influence these stages which is why Kate is delighted to be involved with the multi-disciplinary team at the Natural Natal Centre.
Kate offers her patients’ advice on dietary changes, supplements and functional testing (for further investigations). She is passionate about empowering people to improve their health and their potential of having a healthy pregnancy and baby through good nutrition and has a professional and calm approach to patients while providing practical recommendations to suit each individual. And it doesn’t stop there.... since diet is directly related to health, evidence supports that good nutrition in a child’s early years will lay down the foundations of good health from which it will benefit in its adult years. Good nutrition has far reaching effects.
